Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport where you will be welcomed by our representative and then proceed to your stay in the nearby city of Negombo. Spend the rest of the day relaxing.

After breakfast at the hotel, you'll be heading for Anuradhapura. En route, you'll visit Munneshwaram Temple, where you can learn about Hindu religious traditions. Your day ends with climbing Mihintale Rock (difficulty level: moderate), a place where Buddhism first started in the country. The top of the rock is the best place to view sunset and 360⁰‐view photographs.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will visit Anuradhapura Archeological Site (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Then you proceed to Dambulla.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will do a Traditional Village Tour (tour includes bullock cart ride, catamaran ride, cooking demonstration etc) which is a replica of an ancient village, and it will be a unique experience. Next, in the late afternoon, you will climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress (UNESCO World Heritage Site). Activity involves some step climbing (difficulty level: moderate), but your effort is worth it because of the amazing views and great archeological significance of the place. Then you will visit Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Rock Temple (UNESCO World Heritage Site).

After breakfast at the hotel, you'll start your journey to Kandy. En route you will visit the Spice Garden, where you can learn about local spices and herbs (this activity can be combined with Sri Lankan Cookery Demonstration, where you can prepare your own lunch with your chef in Sri Lankan style. Request in advance if you want to include this activity in the itinerary). Then you'll visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Dalada Maligawa). Next, you can go for a walk around the lake and do a quick city tour. Then you'll visit the Gem Museum. Your day ends with watching a Cultural Dance Show.
