It will cover most of the must‐do activities in Sri Lanka and give a diverse experience for the first or second‐time visitor. We have limited the maximum group size to 16 persons per tour in order to maintain a high satisfaction rate and give good attention to each participant, and both average and luxury accommodation options are available on the tours. This group tour is ideal for those who would like to travel comfortably, the same as a personalized tour at a lesser cost.
Ample Tours representative will pick you up at the airport or any hotel in the Colombo/ Negombo area and then take you to meet up with the rest of the travel crew. Then we will start our journey to the ancient city of Dambulla. Late afternoon you will climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress (UNESCO World Heritage Site). The activity involves some step climbing (difficulty level: moderate), but your effort is worth it because of the amazing views and the great archeological significance of the place. Then you'll be visiting Dambulla Cave Temple, also known as the Golden Rock Temple (UNESCO World Heritage Site).

After breakfast, we will proceed with your group to the medieval capital city, Polonnaruwa. Then you'll do a guided tour of Polonnaruwa Archeological Site (UNESCO World Heritage Site).

After breakfast, we will start our journey to Kandy. En route, you take a stop at the Spice Garden, where you can learn about local spices and herbs. At the end of the garden tour you'll have a Sri Lankan Cookery Demonstration where you can prepare your own lunch with your chef in Sri Lankan style. Then you'll visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (Dalada Maligawa). Then you can go for a walk around the lake and do a quick city tour. Next you'll visit the Gem Museum. Your day ends with watching a Cultural Dance Show.

After breakfast, we'll start our journey to the central highlands of Sri Lanka, Nuwaraeliya (also known as Little England). En route you can see some Waterfalls and visit the Tea Plantation and Tea Factory and learn about the world‐famous Sri Lankan tea‐making process. You can spend your evening at Gregory Park. In the lake there are some water‐related activities like Jet Ski riding, Paddle Boat. You can engage them as you wish (at your expense).

Early morning you take a visit to Horton Plains National Park, an elegant, silent, strange world with some excellent hikes (difficulty level: low) in the shadows of Sri Lanka. The total length of the hike is around 9 km (duration: 3hrs). For the rest of the day you have your free time.

After breakfast, we'll take you to Yala National Park. En route, you take a stop at Rawana Falls. Then you'll do an Adventures Safari Game Drive in Yala. This park is the 2nd largest national park in Sri Lanka, and it is well famous for Leopards.
